I was on stumbleupon yesterday and I found this really awesome halo 3 machinima series called matchmaking by darkspirefilms. I’m not to sure about the story line, or if there’s even a story line at all. Its basically just a bunch of random funny crap. Enjoy!
My XBox 360 Repair Adventures – Sending it to get fixed.
About a week ago my xbox 360 got the dreaded red ring of death. I called microsoft support and got the extended warranty. Then they said they were sending me my box to send it in. To my amazement my box got here in 4 days! Only 4 days! I was thrilled. So I sent it the following monday. I checked the tracking info on the UPS site and it has arrived in Mesquite, Texas(where it is being fixed) in only 3 days. Thus I’m very pleased with the UPS people, they got my box to me and back to Texas in only 1 business week. I’m guesstimating that it will arrive back here in Nevada next Wednesday. But Ill Keep you guys updated with my any other news about the 360 travel adventures.

Awsome Things Unveiled at CES ‘08
Though I didn’t get to CES(Consumer Electronics Show) this year I did find a few videos and reviews of the products that were displayed there. Hopefully I can actually go next year and maybe even review some myself and post them here for you all to watch.
A few of the items released are simply mind boggling such as the 150″ plasma screen TV released by Panasonic, the new Sansa from SanDisk, and the credit card thin televisions are just a few. Here are some videos for your viewing pleasure.

Creating Clean Search Boxes in Photoshop
Creating cool search boxes isn’t all that hard when you use photoshop. In this step by step tutorial I’ll teach you how to create a cool looking search box in photoshop.
The very first thing you’re going to do is create a new photoshop document with the dimensions of 300 by 100.
Then select the rounded rectangle tool to create the base of your search box. Click and drag until it takes up about the whole canvas but with some extra space on the outside.
Then go into the blending options of the layer with the box on it. Then select gradient overlay and select or create a gradient that you like.
Now you should have something that looks similar to this(minus the colors of course):
Next control+click the rectangle layer and go to select-modify-contract and put in 7 pixels.
Now you should have this:
Make sure that the foreground color is set to white. After that select the gradient tool and choose the “foreground to transparent” gradient.
With that gradient selected click a little bit above the canvas and drag down to the middle of the stage.
After doing all the steps you should end up with something like this:
